Agriturismo San Lorenzo

We leave tomorrow after spending 20 days here, and I hope to return next May. The family were all so welcoming, kind, and helpful. Meals were delicious and generous, and it was easy to get into town despite the rural setting. We explored nearby towns and learned a lot of local history. The property also has Roman walls and cisterns that are 2,000 years old.

The rooms were comfortable and really nice, and the pool sits among old Roman walls. This is a family-run place with its own restaurant, and they make nearly all the food from farm products. My wife and I had one of our best stays in Italy here. The family were amazing, and I'd love to come back just to see them again. Thanks for everything.

We came across this place by chance and are so glad we did. The family who run it are kind and a pleasure to be around, and they speak English really well, which can be hard to find when booking places like this. Breakfast costs a small fee and was delicious, and dinner at the restaurant was some of the best food I've had. They make many of the ingredients on site, including jam, honey, cheese, and oil. The property has a pool, spacious rooms with jacuzzi tubs, and lots of spots indoors and out to sit and read. We can't wait to come back.

The scenery was amazing, and the whole stay felt relaxing and restorative, whether you're with family or on your own. The family treated us like their own, and the hospitality, service, and food were all great. We also loved the homemade marmalade and other things to eat. We strongly recommend it if you'd like a peaceful nature break and a chance to see a different part of Italy.
