Astoria Hotel& Ninfea SPA

We stayed in a Standard room, which was a shame because it didn't live up to the hotel's appearance. Still, I'd recommend the place for a weekend of total relaxation. It's very nice and well cared for, with a spotless, very relaxing spa and excellent spa service. The staff gave us an excellent welcome, breakfast was plentiful, and table service was excellent.

We went to the spa floor for lunch on both our arrival day and the following day, and tried the buffet brunch there at a truly excellent price. There was a wide range of massages, and we chose the couple's package: unlimited spa access, a couples massage, overnight stay, breakfast, and gourmet dinner. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the rooms and spa were spotless. The location is very good, though the famous historic center is far away on foot. Our one disappointment was the gourmet dinner. We didn't like the products, and especially the cooking. I'd suggest a regular dinner instead, perhaps with typical products and fewer courses. Apart from that flaw, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend the spa and its excellent value for money. We stayed the night of January 19th.

The room was large, welcoming, and very comfortable, and breakfast was simple but delicious. Everyone we encountered, from the hotel to the wellness center, was extremely kind, helpful, and smiling. The spa is a little small but welcoming and well-equipped. I had a post-pregnancy massage, while my husband had a relaxing one. Prices were reasonable and the staff very professional. We'll definitely return, especially with the kids, since they offer babysitting.

The springs are just steps away, so the location is strategic. The room was small but clean and well maintained, and the prices were excellent. Staff were qualified and friendly, the restaurant was very good, and I really enjoyed the spa on site. My wife and I will definitely come back. The place made us feel a little at home.
