Dinner was a real highlight. Every day there were three different starters and three main courses to choose from, and the portions were so generous we often couldn't finish. They brought bread, breadsticks and a salad made with different vegetables before the starter, then offered several desserts afterwards. Breakfast had a good enough range to keep you happy for a week, though it was the same every day. The pool is open around the clock, so you can swim at midnight, but the water can be a bit cold. The location beside Lake Garda is brilliant, and the staff are friendly. I'd avoid the table tennis tables, though: they're covered in stones that badly scratch the ball and send it bouncing all over.

The owner was a great guy and couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfasts were superb, and our room had a small balcony overlooking the pool. It's on a busy road, though most of Torbole is like that. A great place for a pit stop, and we hope to return.

The beach is easy to reach just past Lidl, and it’s a big one with little inlets where kids can play. Lidl is right beside the hotel and very cheap, handy for picking up food, drinks, or ice cream. The bus stops are at the door, with routes to Riva and the other way to Malcesine. We had a triple room that felt a bit small, but the huge balcony made up for it. The staff were really helpful, and breakfast had plenty to choose from, including tea you could order from the menu.

We had a very enjoyable stay in this relaxed hotel. It’s a great base for getting out and being active, with the lake, bike paths, shops, and restaurants all close by.
