Hotel Marchi

Top.

Motorcyclists may want to consider this place. I don't think there's parking at the hotel itself, though motorcycle parking is a short walk away. The rooms are simple and clean, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. There's no breakfast service on site, but local bars are less than a minute away. The front desk also suggested good dinner spots and itineraries. Wi-Fi is available.

I was only passing by, not staying there, when my baby started crying and I sat on the bench outside to breastfeed him. A woman from the hotel came out with water and a caffeine-free tiramisu, and even offered somewhere to change him. It left me thinking a stay at Hotel Marchi must be something special.

Breakfast used to be prepared with so much care, which I always loved, but they don't serve it themselves anymore. Still, this place has so much charm and its own character. It feels like being a kid at your grandmother's house, and that even makes the old bathroom tiles and the 40-year-old elevator easy to forgive :-)
