The garden was beautiful, and the place was sparkling clean, cozy, and really nice. One of the nicest places I’ve stayed in Italy. I’d definitely recommend it.

The private garden looking out over the port of La Spezia is a real bonus. The owners were extremely kind and hospitable. Though it’s tucked away somewhere quiet and remote, it’s handy for visiting the towns around the Gulf of Poets. The apartment is in a former shop/tavern, and its thick stone walls keep it cool without air conditioning. It was very clean.

A car is definitely needed here, but parking is free, and the value for money is extremely good. We had a fully equipped apartment with a fantastic view, a great kitchen, a lovely bathroom, and a comfortable bed. It’s family-run, with lots of attention to detail. The owner’s father gave us great tips for visiting the Cinque Terre and was available in the evenings too. There was coffee and tea, mosquito repellent, two loungers in the garden, and the option of having a small barbecue. This place is perfect for a few days exploring the Cinque Terre. There’s so much else to praise, I’d give it more than five stars if I could.
