L'oasi di Ambra

The garden and pool were so lovely that we ended up scrapping plans to visit other cities. We had the best nine days there, relaxing and enjoying the family atmosphere, with friends coming over for dinners, pool parties, karaoke nights, and lazy Sundays. We felt lucky to be treated like friends of the house. We're a family of four, two adults and two girls aged 8 and 9, and we got everything we hoped for: space, a swimming pool, and peaceful surroundings. The place is like paradise and even prettier than the pictures. Mario does a great job keeping the garden beautiful, and the pool is clean and fun. Our girls could swim whenever they wanted, morning, midday, evening, and night. Sunbeds, tables, and chairs are spread around the pool, so it feels like a big garden cafe outdoors. Inside, the house has lots of charm and thoughtful style and design. The bathroom is very clean, and there's a big kitchen for cooking and eating. We never ate inside, though, since the four outdoor eating areas were so nice for meals. Ambra, Mario, and Patrizia are honestly the best hosts we've ever met, and we travel a lot as a family, with and without kids. Patrizia is fun and caring, with great tips on places to eat, shop, and see. Mario is always fixing things and ready to offer a glass of prosecco. Ambra makes you feel welcome and has good ideas for a day or evening out. The hosts treat everyone with respect, whatever kind of person they are. We saw quieter guests who mostly wanted to be alone, while we're a very open family who love meeting and talking to people. We made new friends. If you want a relaxing holiday with space, a pool, lovely people, and memories to keep, book it. It's worth every penny. Outside the property, there's litter, stray animals, and little to do if you don't have a vehicle. At the property, it can be hard to make yourself understood without speaking Italian, and they don't accept credit cards. The room, bedding, amenities, and pool were all very good, and the place itself was clean and pleasant. There was a barbecue, but no refrigerator, which was really difficult in the heat. We had to eat out for lunch and dinner or buy food for the family. The area outside felt like a developing country.

We booked the entire property since there were so many of us, and the photos were accurate. Everything worked perfectly. The garden was lit beautifully for late night conversations, the pool was clean, and the outdoor hot showers had shower gel. The breakfast area stayed stocked and open all day and night, with coffee pods, snacks, water, and more. After we checked out, we asked whether we could stay by the pool since there were no new guests, and they quickly brought plenty of towels so we could wash up before leaving. In the evening, we had celebrated a bride-to-be. There's also a supermarket with parking nearby, and the staff there were competent and courteous. The managers and staff at the property were extremely polite, attentive, and always around.

Such a lovely spot, a real oasis. The room was cute and spacious, and the location was excellent. Recommended!
