Agriturismo Cuprena

The rooms are stylish, the beds very comfortable, and the team is friendly and attentive. We enjoyed a relaxing stay at this well designed agriturismo in a picturesque area north of Arezzo, where contemporary interiors meet a traditional exterior. The gardens and pool are attractive and well cared for, though the pool could use daily cleaning since earthworms tend to gather there. The on-site restaurant is handy given the remote setting. Breakfast was tasty, and the dinner menu is interesting, but rotating daily specials and a simpler menu might make it more consistent and varied.

The food was superb, and my Italian friends, whom I hosted for dinner, plan to come back. But the real highlight for me was the local women who run Agriturismo Cuprena. Chiara, Giulia and the team are wonderfully kind, with warm welcomes and smiles that made my stay. The idyllic setting and beautiful old farmhouse fit perfectly into the surroundings, a New World ideal of Old World perfection. I wish I could give Agriturismo Cuprena more than five stars. I can't recommend it highly enough.

The private indoor pool and sauna made our short pre-baby break feel extra special. We also loved the thoughtfully designed, beautiful room and how kind and attentive the staff were. Cuprena was perfect for us, and we’d happily recommend it.

What stands out most is how much the people care. When our rental car got a flat tire three hours from the hotel, they arranged everything, sent a taxi, and made sure we got back safely. Giulia was a huge help coordinating the whole puncture situation. The owner was just as kind: when our taxi didn’t show up, she personally drove us to our next destination. The location is stunning, the food is incredible, and the service is top-notch. A real hidden gem, highly recommended.
