Otello and Caterina welcomed us very kindly, and overall we had a positive stay. The farmhouse is surrounded by greenery and quiet, about 4 km from the city center, so it’s a strategic base for exploring the city. We were six in the larger apartment across two levels. It was fully equipped, but didn’t have enough furniture for that many guests. The cleaning wasn’t finished to an adequate standard, especially for the price, and the farmhouse could use more careful maintenance, particularly outside. Thanks to Otello for his hospitality.

Otello welcomed us with great kindness and old-fashioned hospitality, and even gave us an apple pie and Vin Santo. We stayed in the apartment in a finely renovated farmhouse, beautifully situated with Arezzo at our feet, about 4 km from the center. It had three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a small living room, and a lovely kitchen, with everything needed for an easy stay. It was tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. We had a wonderful time, and thank Otello and his family. We hope to stay with them again.

From the apartment, we had a lovely view across Arezzo, with the historic center and Duomo right in front of us. The exterior is beautiful, and inside everything has been carefully kept up. It looks like a recent renovation, done with taste while respecting the building’s antique character. We were visiting friends who were staying there. I did miss having a balcony, terrace, or veranda, though perhaps adding one would have changed the place’s original feel.

The location is superb and peaceful, though you’ll need a car. The renovation has a lovely Italian style, and everything feels solid and works as it should. I only wish there were a proper outdoor place to sit.
