Hotel Cecco has comfortable rooms, great service, and a good breakfast, and it’s ideally located for visiting Arezzo. It’s also close to the train station. If you want to enjoy Arezzo and have reason to visit Florence too, getting there is an easy commute.

The location is good and the prices are reasonable. My room was basic but clean, and the air conditioning was a welcome relief with 35 degrees outside. Wi-Fi was patchy, possibly because the room was at the end of a long corridor on the third floor. Breakfast was simple, but a couple of croissants and a coffee suited me fine. The entrance is easy to walk past because the typography doesn’t make Cecco stand out. Inside, it felt like an Italian hotel from 30 years ago, in a good way, with an old-fashioned reception desk and signs of a former restaurant in the basement.

Cozy, spacious rooms with air conditioning, right in the center. I’ll definitely come back.

For what it costs, the hospitality is great, and you're close to the city center. The place could use better upkeep, but at this price I wasn't expecting more.
