The location is good, but the apartment felt lacking in basic supplies and upkeep. There was just one toilet paper roll for a place that sleeps six, no napkins, and things weren’t very tidy or clean. The sheets weren’t very clean either, and the shower needs cleaning and repairs. The beds were terrible. In my view, it’s overrated and the Totò rating should be reconsidered. What a shame.

The bathroom was in awful shape, with broken tiles and poor sanitation, and a strong sewer smell. Dusty surfaces, shabby furniture, and worn details made the place feel neglected, and the house was dirty when we arrived. Our weekend in Rome was unfortunately spoiled by this stay. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone seeking a clean, comfortable place, and I won’t return. I hope the owners renovate and clean thoroughly before renting it again.

The location is the one good thing. The refrigerator smelled rotten, the furniture was broken and leaning, and my girlfriend had to sleep on a fold-out cot. There was rust and limescale everywhere, plus dust throughout the bathroom and black stains on the carpets. Horrible. I wouldn’t recommend it even to my worst enemy!

Trastevere is a good, very central area, though there were a few too many stairs.
