Le Rime

The place itself is nice and in a quiet area, but our experience with the owner was awful. My husband and I arrived around 3 PM, having roughly told him when to expect us, and the house felt very cold. After the initial greetings, we also found there was no microwave and the oven didn't work. When we asked about it, he said this wasn't a B&B but a guesthouse. I'd found it on Google listed as a B&B. That evening the radiators were still off. The owner said they came on remotely at 7:00 PM and would switch off once the place reached 21 degrees. They did turn on at seven, but were off again by eight. My husband had to go into hospital the following day, and I didn't want him getting ill from the cold. When we called to explain the problem, the owner rudely called us annoying and told us to leave. He even offered to find another place for us, though who knows where or with whom. We refused. We were kicked out at 8:30 PM, after arriving at about three, with nowhere to go. Then he asked for €75 for a night we hadn't used. We've traveled a lot, and never had such a miserable experience. It's also a shame I can't post the photo showing the B&B logo. Now it just says accommodation with service.

The supermarket right next door was handy, and getting into town took about a 15-minute walk. The old town is well worth a visit. I stayed for two nights in September 2022, and Alessio came over to show me around and explain how everything worked. He was friendly and accommodating. The apartment was a comfortable, hassle-free base. It had a well-equipped kitchenette, a fridge, and a gas stove, plus a good-sized bedroom and a spacious modern bathroom. You can step from the bathroom into a small garden, and there's a terrace outside that's useful for drying clothes. I had a very pleasant stay and would recommend it.

Alessio was thoughtful, polite, and very helpful, and we had a great time. The house is clean, really nice, and has everything you might need. Its kitchen is roomy, and both bedrooms are spacious, each with a bathroom. The center is very close, with a supermarket across the street and a restaurant with delicious food just steps away.

The location worked well for me: it's close to the Tuscan surgical center, in a really quiet area, and there's a supermarket right across the street. The center isn't far either. You get your own keys to come and go, and there's plenty of free parking. B&B Le Rime is run by Alessio, who's incredibly kind and helpful. I was there for two days, and he stopped by now and then to repair and repaint the entrance gate. That same care shows in the apartment. It's not very big, with two bedrooms and a shared kitchen, but it's modern, spotless, and has what you need. The rooms are very roomy, and each has its own bathroom. You can lock your room when you go out if you're sharing the place. The bathrooms had hairdryers, towels, shower mats, toilet paper, and liquid soap. In the bedrooms there were sheets, a TV, bedside power sockets, a coat rack, and lots of storage. The kitchen had glasses, mugs, cups, pots, bins, a refrigerator, a pod coffee maker, and even dish soap and a sponge. And for once, the pillows were normal! Usually I find them too thin and uncomfortable, but these had a reverse side. I was very happy with my stay and would gladly return if I'm ever in Arezzo.
