Palazzo Bostoli Guest House

We stayed in the attic room, which has a beautiful beamed ceiling. The shared terrace was a treat too, where we had a fantastic tea while looking out over the city's rooftops. It's a special place, a beautifully maintained 14th-century building right in the center of Arezzo.

Sara and Alessio are friendly and helpful owners, and there are amenities nearby. The location is very central, making it easy to arrange visits to operas, churches, museums, and works of art. The rooftop terrace has a fabulous city view and is worth a visit on its own.

This was a stay in April 2018. The accommodation itself was excellent, and the initial welcome was fine. But we had endless trouble because the person handling check-in hadn't completed the required advance declarations for our car to enter the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone), including for dropping off and collecting our luggage. We got two fines each time, even after complaining several times. She said the issue had been reported, but now we're facing exorbitant fines owed to a debt collection agency. We have very, very bad memories of this place and this city.

We had a very pleasant stay with my partner and our dog. The owners were friendly and helpful, the rooms very spacious, and the location excellent. There's a shared terrace with spectacular views over Arezzo, and parking is reasonably close. The one drawback is that there isn't an elevator.
