The convenient location near the center of Arezzo is about the only redeeming feature of my stay at Sassoverde 9. The apartment was old, neglected, and not welcoming at all. The beds were uncomfortable, the dated bathrooms seemed unhygienic, and the furnishings were clearly outdated. The kitchen was barely usable, with very few pots, pans, or utensils, not enough even for basic needs. There was no assistance at arrival or departure, and nobody there to welcome me or give directions. It left me feeling completely abandoned. I would not recommend this stay.
