The staff really stood out, always attentive and quick to help. We picked this quiet spot for one night to get a break from busy Florence and Rome, and the countryside view from our room was gorgeous, especially at sunset over the mountains. The pool and lake were closed because of the cold in October, so we missed the warmer-weather amenities. Our room felt open and nice, especially the bathroom. With a rental car, it was a short drive to Arezzo and local restaurants. Breakfast was very good, with croissants, smoothies, cheese, yogurt, and other pastries. We bought wine and olive oil to remember the stay.

The pool was fantastic, the rooms were nice, and the staff were friendly. It's in a great spot, 4 km from Arezzo center, with a beautiful view over the winery, and free bikes were available. Breakfast service was a letdown. The air conditioning couldn't cool the room, maybe because the space was too large. The restaurant was closed three nights in a row, and we weren't told why.

The rooms are clean, but the walkway to them gets dark in the evening. The pool is small and neglected, and the lake is inaccessible. Breakfast was only just adequate, though there were a couple of homemade cakes and the woman running the restaurant was helpful. The whole property feels cluttered and neglected, with a lot of potential left unused. Spa access wasn't offered or encouraged. It wouldn't take much to turn this into a dream place.

The spa, outdoor pool, and cleanliness were all top-notch, and the vineyard setting just outside Arezzo is lovely and peaceful, full of countryside scents. The only issue in my room was the air conditioning. It was set far away between two walls and didn't seem to work properly.
