Argegno Home

We booked directly through Hotel Argegno’s website, so breakfast was included. There was plenty of choice, something for everyone. Our room had everything we needed, including a reasonably priced minibar, and the views were incredible. The hotel worked really well for getting around: the bus stop is right outside, Como is about 30 minutes away by bus, and Mennagio is too. There’s also a ferry stop nearby. We stayed two nights in May and loved it so much we wished we could have stayed the whole week. We’d happily return.

The one hard part was having to leave. Hotel Argegno feels like part of the community, with local patrons dropping in for pizza and weekend football. We had a warm welcome, friendly staff, great service and rooms, all in a stunning location. We’ll be back!

We had a delicious dinner, especially the pizza, and breakfast was superb too. It’s a lovely family-run hotel, with welcoming, courteous staff. Our room was spacious and very clean, and the location was great.

The hotel is right across from the ferry pier and bus stops, which made getting around the lake easy. Although it’s on a main road that gets busy around 6 am, we couldn’t hear anything with the windows closed. From our balcony, the view was breathtaking. The room was clean and well looked after, with made beds and fresh towels every day. Breakfast was lovely, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We loved staying here and will definitely return.
