I got really confused because some photos showed the villas and gardens in Lake Como generally, rather than this specific property.

I was visiting nearby for a bridal styling appointment and couldn’t stay at the residence because it was fully booked. The next morning I needed to be at the bride’s house by 11:00, but street parking was already full for the holiday weekend. I noticed the garage door open and what looked like empty spaces, so I called the main office and politely asked if I could pay to use one at short notice. They said spaces were only for people staying at the residence, with no exceptions. My suggestion that some guests might have checked out was ignored, and they told me to look on the street, which I’d already tried. They wouldn’t even check whether a space was free, despite my offer to pay. I ended up going back to where I was staying, then walking 15 minutes uphill and downhill through the sun with my makeup equipment. The way they treated a service provider felt unprofessional and unfriendly. A little cooperation would have made a big difference. I felt brushed off, and it was very disappointing.

We have a lovely memory of our Italian holiday. The rental had a great view over the lake and was very well equipped, with a microwave, dishwasher, and fan. There was no air conditioning, though, and the pool could have been better maintained.

The apartment has a fantastic view of the lake and was great. Getting around on foot is hard, though, because of the steep uphill and downhill walk.
