Capruzzi Holiday 240 (Adults Only)

We were only there for a night between a flight and a train, and the room was clean and comfortable for that. The best thing is how close it is to the train station, just a short walk. The shower in the shared bathroom didn’t seem to be cleaned properly.

We paid online weeks ahead after booking the rooms, but from the first day the host wasn’t helpful and even blocked us when we asked a simple question about the booking before our flights. We got neither an access code nor a key, so we had no accommodation or service. When we called Booking, they said the hotel manager had to cancel because we hadn’t “checked in” “on time” and that he’d waited for us, even though we’d been blocked on the phone the whole time. We want our money back. It felt like they treated us as idiots. We could have ended up sleeping on the street.

There was no staff around to talk to or raise our concerns with, and after we left that same night without even trying to sleep, management refused our refund by email and replied dismissively, without an apology. The apartment was filthy, with dirty carpets, a foul smell, and a general feeling of neglect. We also found a lot of bedbugs crawling on the mattress when we pulled back the sheets, which had visible blood stains too. We were disgusted and disappointed, and I’ve never felt this way about a place we stayed before. Save yourself the horror and stay far away.

The rooms were great, and the location is perfect. Service was just average, though. The guy who handed us the key wasn’t very friendly. I’d still recommend the place, especially for a group of 3-4.
