Borgo Fontana B&B

The stairs up to the second floor are very steep, and the rooms are on the small side, though ours was clean. Breakfast was excellent. The owner-operator replied quickly and helped with anything we needed, including arranging an appreciated early-morning taxi to the airport. Check-in through the lockbox was convenient, and she confirmed when we arrived. The B&B is in the historic center, close to sights and restaurants, with easy train access. We can heartily recommend staying here.

Rosa and Guseppe made us feel looked after from booking right through to leaving, and breakfast each morning was freshly made and delicious. Our room was spotless and nicely decorated, and the B&B sits right in the middle of the old town. They were fantastic hosts. I can't imagine a better place to stay in Bari. Highly recommended, grazie mille Rosa and Guseppe!

Rosa and Giuseppe were so welcoming, kind, and ready to help. The place is tucked onto a quiet side street in Bari's beautiful old town, so the location is wonderful and peaceful. Rosa cooked a delicious breakfast every morning. Since I had an early flight and would miss it, she even packed me a bag to take along. A truly lovely stay, and I can't recommend it enough.

Rosa's breakfasts were generous and imaginative, and she gave us good advice about the city. She was friendly without hovering, and when we left the pedestrian-only area she walked us to a spot where we could catch the taxi she'd called. I accidentally took my key with me when I left, and offered to drive it back, but she insisted on collecting it at the airport herself. She really went out of her way to help. My wife and I had a wonderful two-day stay.
