Magda’s house on the sea

The beds were very comfortable, parking was private, and the place is close to the center. For us, the price was very low. Those are the good points. But the table and chairs aren’t suitable for eating, and with the kitchen open to the double bed and only two burners, cooking here is impossible. Cleanliness could be better. The building entrance feels like stepping back 50 or 60 years, and that’s not a compliment. The bathroom has no window and poor ventilation, so after a few minutes in the shower it turns into a sauna. There’s no bidet, it’s full of mold, and the second shower in a row was freezing. The water heater probably holds only a few liters. I definitely won’t return. Make up your own mind.

Mrs. Magda was a huge help before and during our trip, with advice and support that was invaluable for our first visit to Italy. The quiet apartment is clean, tidy, and stocked with everything from coffee and tea to cleaning supplies. There’s a shop around the corner, and it’s about a 15-minute walk to Bari’s center along the promenade. Highly recommend!

The owner was kind and helpful, and the apartment was clean, well kept, and well equipped. It’s a nice place for a vacation, close to everything: bars and shops are around the corner, while the beach and Old Town are both 800 meters away in opposite directions.

The owners were friendly, though you hardly saw them. The location is good, but the price is high. It’s really only suitable for two, even though it’s sold for four. You end up choosing between sleeping and using the bathroom. The stairs are steep too, which is a problem with lots of luggage.
