The hosts’ hospitality is what would bring us back. They made us feel at home, and Francesco was especially kind and helpful, even though our Italian was limited. We spent five wonderful days here in July 2025. Breakfast each morning was plentiful, and having it on the beautiful terrace was a daily highlight. The apartment is right in the old town, well placed for exploring, and around a 20 minute walk from the station. The room’s air conditioning could have been stronger, though it was okay, and we expected that in a building hundreds of years old. We had a brilliant stay.

I only wish we’d stayed more than 3days. I was travelling with 2 small children, and they were thrilled to find turtles on the rooftops. Francesco, the owner, was warm and kind, and takes such care of the place that the standards felt higher than at any hotel I’ve been to. The rooms were cosy, with very comfortable beds and pillows, and the rooftop breakfast was wonderful, with an amazing view. You’re right in Bari’s old city center, 2 minutes from San Nicola's basil and 5 mins from the sea, with amazing restaurants all around. We’ll come back!

The sunset from the roof was wow, and you can see the sea from there. We also had coffee in the room and on the roof. The host is an artist and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were very clean, and we loved how relaxed we felt during our weekend stay. It’s a lovely spot in the old center. The houses around here in the old center are from 9th century. Wow! We’d definitely recommend booking here.

There’s a really good breakfast on the rooftop terrace, and the place has lots of space and charm. It’s right in the heart of the old town. The host doesn’t speak English, but a bit of gesturing was enough to get by.
