The rooms were roomy and spotless, with perfect mattresses and thick, lovely cotton sheets that reminded me of my grandmother. Breakfast included delicious homemade crostata and cake, along with packaged items, yogurt, and apples. The pool is small but wonderful and pristine, with a pleasant place to relax around it. This beautifully restored old farm is run by a discreet, very kind owner who gave us useful tips on what to see nearby, including a remarkable archaeological site close to the house. I highly recommend staying here and visiting the Po Delta at least once in your life. It really is a magical place.

Maura is a gem, and there’s a genuinely good local restaurant just a few steps away. We had a superb stay on a working farm in the countryside, with lovely lodging and an excellent breakfast right there. A real vacation in the delta.

We came as two families with children and shared one of the apartments. Even though we were all under one roof, the layout gave everyone plenty of privacy. Everything was exceptionally clean and carefully looked after, indoors and out, and the pool was spectacular. The location was excellent as well. We’ll definitely return!
