Appartmento Camelia

Arona’s historic old town turned out to be one of the most charming spots on Lago Maggiore. The lake promenade had a lovely atmosphere in the evening, with lots of restaurants and cafes, and plenty of cafes open for breakfast in the morning. We loved it and will have to come back. Apartment E on the third floor was spotless, with all new modern furniture. The whole building has been beautifully reconstructed, inside and out. It’s centrally located on a charming little square, just a few steps from the lake promenade, yet it was quiet. The lift and keyless entry were very convenient: we received one personal code for both the main door and the apartment. Thank you for an absolutely amazing stay. Everything was just perfect 👍👍👍.

We spent five days there and had an amazing stay. The apartment was full of charm, very clean, and spacious. It’s right in the centre, with the lake only a few minutes away on foot.

Everything was close by, and the location was perfect. I stayed in the cheapest room, which was spotless, modern, and equipped for a couple of days or even a week. Online check-in was quick, and the portal was straightforward to use. You unlock the lobby and room with a personal digital code, which is handy, though mine didn’t work at first at the hotel entrance. I would have preferred having physical staff on site, but they were reachable online or by phone.

The location and room were great, but the hotel felt a bit lifeless without staff on site. Check-in was complicated because the code didn’t work.
