The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was decent, with lots of sweet choices, and the New Year’s Eve celebration was entertaining with plenty of food. On our last day, they even made us a cake as a sweet goodbye. The room was clean and well maintained, though the hotel needs renovation: there was water damage on the walls, things needing repair, and mold in my room. There was no kettle, so getting coffee before breakfast or during the day meant paying for it. The room had only two electrical sockets, so charging devices meant moving the desk. The door lock was confusing, as you had to turn it right, then left, and check that the door had closed properly. The toilet flush needed constant pressure, and sounds from other rooms, including toilets and showers, were noticeable. The AC was either on or off, with no way to adjust it. Maybe one day they’ll give the hotel a freshen-up.

I stayed here for five days in 2022. The rooms were very old and hadn't been properly prepared or cleaned before guests arrived. Breakfast was good and sufficient.

The staff didn’t seem to treat the bed bug issue seriously, and I’m not convinced they ever fixed it properly. I wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel.

The welcome from the staff was really warm, and the hotel itself is better than places like the Concorde. The beds are much more comfortable too, though the views don’t compare as well. Dinner was pleasant and about what you’d expect from local restaurants. Breakfast, though, felt pretty uninspired.

The location makes it easy to reach restaurants and other nice places, so I’d recommend it if you mainly need somewhere to sleep before heading out for the day. I was there for work and the thin walls caused a problem: the person in the next room was on the phone late at night, and I could hear the whole conversation. The room itself was small. Breakfast was okay, but the top-floor restaurant was expensive.
