The staff were very kind, and breakfast was okay. It’s an old hotel, and I had a small single room without air conditioning. My bathroom had been renovated recently, though my colleagues' bathroom had not. The shower pressure was low, and there was a pot of perfume in the room that I moved onto the balcony. My balcony looked onto a backyard, but it was quiet outside at night.

The hotel was well priced, with a great location and very friendly staff. Breakfast was really nice and good quality. My room was basic, but I was happy with it for what I paid. The shower was great and the ensuite bathroom was large. It’s an eight-minute walk to Arona station and just moments from Lake Maggiore.

My room was beside a main road, near a rubber road bump. Cars hit it at speed, causing two loud bangs each time, and that went on for most of the night. The hotel itself is quite old, though clean.

It’s in a great location and is very clean and well maintained. I’ve always loved coming here, and still do. It’s become a cosy place that feels like home, and the staff greet you with a smile every time.

The staff are young, friendly, professional, welcoming, and so helpful. They deserve five stars, and the greeting was top-notch. You do need to reserve parking in advance. Check-in was prompt, and my room was ready quickly, beautifully welcoming, with my zodiac sign on it, a lovely touch. Even the hallways smelled wonderfully clean, and the bathroom was spotless. It really feels like home, with the staff making you feel pampered and cared for. It’s a true four-star hotel in a strategic spot close to all amenities. Congratulations, we’ll be back.
