Residence Queen

The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the service was great, friendly, and informative. Parking was a plus, and we appreciated the free bottle of water. The hotel seems quite old, though they’ve tried to renovate it beautifully. One drawback is the old-fashioned hairdryer built into the wall. It works, but overheats after just two minutes. The walls are thin too, so you can hear everything in the hallway.

The shower was dirty and broken, and the place itself was dusty. Towels were changed only after three or four days, and nobody seemed to check whether we needed basics like toilet paper or a trash bag. The parking arrangement was the worst part: they wanted my car keys, and when I refused to let someone else drive my Mitsubishi, they compared it with the Mercedes Benz, BMW, and Land rovers they had there. The owner eventually let me park, but said I couldn't move the car because other cars were blocking it. The staff came across as very arrogant. I'd call this a two-star hotel, and that's being generous. I wouldn't recommend it, though if all you need is somewhere to sleep, you could give it a try.

The apartments were lovely, clean, and everything worked. The staff were friendly and professional, and the location was beautiful. We spent two weeks here in summer and enjoyed every minute. I work in hospitality myself, and after years of staying in luxury hotels in Rimini, I have to say Residence hotel Queen comes out ahead in every way. Great work, and we hope to return one day. Kind regards, Mireille/ Sandro Fazzolari.

The rooms and balconies were both clean, and the hotel staff were nice.
