Locanda Valmolin

The place itself is modern and nice, and I hope this feedback is useful. But I wasn't satisfied with the food, service, or price. I work in restaurants as well as coming here as a customer, and inexperience doesn't make the issues okay. On New Year's Eve, the second course came before the first. I can understand there was some confusion, but the menu listed pumpkin and porcini pie and we got meat pie instead, with no explanation. The side was potatoes and cooked herbs, which we'd never seen before. When we asked for wine, we were told it had sold out. The quality, service, and price just weren't up to par.

The rural Polesine decor is typical and the location is its saving grace. But the dishes were simple and poorly prepared, like in a trattoria, and the pizza came a little undercooked. Service could be better, especially with large groups. For AICS Club, you have to be a member to dine, and if you're not, you need to sign up on site. Sorry, I'm a complete fail.

The restaurant looks beautiful inside and out, and the atmosphere is really welcoming. The seafood carbonara was excellent, the fried fish carefully prepared, and the deconstructed cheesecake delicious. Well done, guys, you've brought back the mix from the former VenTo. The playlist is the only part I like 😄. Alicia and Adele feel a bit sad, so a cheerier mix would be better 👍 Still, well done.

The food and prices were average, but the place is lovely for parties, with lots of outdoor space. I went one evening with friends and there was live music. We had a lovely evening.
