In the morning, have a cup of coffee while looking at the city from the window. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel — Giardino Frontone, Basilica di San Domenico and National Museum of Umbrian Archaeology.

The balcony view was even better than the photos, and the rooms were cleaned. I booked the place to visit an old Italian village, and the spacious rooms, view, and good price impressed me. Call Rita before arriving to arrange the key pickup. Cards are accepted at the hotel, which has parking for two cars, though the road up is very narrow and steep. There's also free public parking by the soccer stadium, but it's a long way from the hotel. The bedroom was large and opened onto the balcony, and the living room had a fireplace. The kitchen was fully equipped, including a clothes washer. The bathroom was smaller, with a shower. The balcony had a table and chairs for enjoying the view, as well as a fireplace. Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast was croissants and bread, with butter and milk in the fridge, which also had a freezer. Coffee was provided. Places to eat near the church below the hotel generally close by 8 pm. They don't take cards, but there's an ATM nearby. I highly recommend visiting and enjoying the views.

The apartment was beautiful, well equipped, and had a balcony with a breathtaking view. I had such a lovely stay at Loggis sul Nera, and Rita was a fantastic host. Gorgeous place, I couldn't recommend it more!

Rita gave us a wonderful welcome and looked after us throughout our visit. The historic house has a stupendous terrace view, and Loggia sul Nera sits just below the ancient castle, which is lovely to explore. The modern village has everything needed: bars, supermarkets, a great fresh pasta shop, a pizza shop, a pharmacy, and, best of all, an unbeatable ice cream shop. There are fantastic walks and bike rides nearby, and cascata delle marmore, an ancient and splendid waterfall, is only a few kilometres away. Go and stay, just leave my apartment free for when I want to return!

A lovely, atmospheric place with a very local feel, almost at the hilltop beside the medieval castle. Parking is a little way off, about a five-minute walk uphill, but manageable.
