The panoramic view is breathtaking, and the rooms are quiet and comfortable. The B&B is clean and very well looked after, in charming Artena. I'd consider staying here if you're in the area, definitely recommended.

We couldn't see the inside at all because the owners had rented the cottage to someone else, despite our confirmed reservation. After waiting half an hour, having been told by phone that they were on their way, we packed up and left. The village itself is superb, but reaching the cottage means walking up a 200-meter cobblestone climb, with lots of aggressive cats around. I wouldn't recommend it.

The climb up the steep steps was unpleasant, with some steps especially high. The route was very dirty too: dog and cat droppings, dead animals such as birds or a mouse, paper tissues, and other rubbish.

The room was nice and clean, but I found it too expensive. Nobody had told me when booking that breakfast would cost an extra 10 euros. The town is entirely pedestrian, so getting there meant a long uphill walk and steps, which was exhausting with children and suitcases.

The historic center of Artena has a stunning view, and the place itself was welcoming, clean, and very quiet. It's uphill, but still easy to reach.
