We visited in Sept 2019 and found stylish, comfortable rooms in an antico edificio in this historic town. The host was lovely. There’s a breathtaking walk with stunning scenery, and a nearby restaurant that was well recommended. Well worth the visit.

It was quiet and very close to the interesting town center. The rooms are really well kept, and we used the fireplace after bringing our own firewood. Recommended.

The rooms are spacious, tastefully furnished, and meticulously looked after, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The woman who greeted us was so friendly that we felt at home right away. It’s a rustic house in the heart of Artena, a few steps from the historic center, which is steep and pedestrian-only. You can reach the property by car, with nearby parking on blue lines. A great-value choice for a weekend away.

We only stayed one night, which was a shame because we would have liked to stay longer. We came across this B&B by chance and were pleasantly surprised by its traditional, well-kept feel and how clean everything was. Breakfast was plentiful, with something always available, and the owner was very welcoming and helpful. It’s 5 minutes from Valmontone and 40 minutes from central Rome, and the village of Artena is charming and picturesque. Excellent value.
