Agriturismo Podere Picciolo

We came hoping to experience the Tuscan countryside from *Under the Tuscan Sun*, beyond the usual Italy trip, and found this hotel near Florence. It turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The grounds were beautifully maintained, with immaculate lawns that showed how much care the owner puts in. The warm welcome and spotless rooms made us feel at home, even thousands of miles from our real one. It also had an authentic, lived-in feel. Breakfast was delicious, and I'd recommend it to my friends. Our busy Florence itinerary meant we didn't get enough time to enjoy the hotel properly, which was a real shame. We spent part of our honeymoon here after a family member recommended it, and it was even better than we'd hoped. Grazia and Riccardo made us feel so welcome. Their home-cooked meals used produce from the garden, and they catered for me as a vegetarian. We enjoyed meeting other guests over dinner and breakfast, and the owners' love for food and their country really came through. The pool was impressive, and both the grounds and our room were very clean. We felt completely at ease and will tell friends and family to stay here in Tuscany. We'll be back!

We spent four nights at this lovely agritourismo in the Tuscan hills of Reggello. Grazia and Riccardo welcomed us like family. Meals were served family-style with the other guests, and we made new friends while eating delicious food from the family's gardens, vineyard, and olive trees. We look forward to returning.
