We kept returning to the hotel restaurant every day after having dinner there on our first night in Planaval. The chef is a real professional and the food was delicious. It's a gorgeous, quiet little village, and this wonderful restaurant seems to be its center. The Paramont staff were the warmest and most welcoming people we met on our trip, young and full of life. We can't wait to return.

We really liked our stay here. The staff were wonderful, and the place has a warm, generous, family feel. The receptionist was especially friendly and helpful. Our clothes were dirty from trekking, and she offered to wash them for free. Truly recommend it 👌

I only stopped in at the bar on a rainy day in July, and they welcomed me warmly and looked after me well. The setting and view are gorgeous, and it seems like a great place to start hikes in a quieter valley. The coffee was great, and they spoke enthusiastically about the local cheeses and dishes. Reviews mention the food too, so I'd love to come back and try it. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay through a major winter storm, with about 45 cm of snow falling overnight, and went snowshoeing. The sauna was nice too, though it cost extra. Dinner was good, with local specialties, but the portions defeated us and we couldn't finish our courses. The host was friendly, the rooms had a comfortable charm and were warm enough. The bathroom was clean, though it looked a little dated.

The owners were helpful and friendly, the food was tasty, and there was a good choice of wines. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well kept. One thing to improve: tell guests the sauna costs 20 euro per person before they book it. For our large group, finding out at the end was a surprise. We hadn't been told about the price beforehand, and the extra service isn't listed anywhere.
