We only had one night here in June while climbing in Aosta, and really wished we could've stayed longer. Arvier has a lovely atmosphere and worked so well as a base for exploring the Aosta Valley. The room stayed cool in the heat, and its decor was tasteful, with plenty of character. Our hosts know the mountain activities and can advise or guide you for almost anything you're interested in. The homemade breakfast was delicious, with proper coffee. There was a fridge for cold drinks and a kettle in the room, both very useful in the heat. Our hosts also recommended and reserved a sensational restaurant just a four-minute walk away. We'll be back.

Ilaria was so kind and helpful, pointing us towards hikes and places to shop. Her breakfast was fantastic, made with fresh local products, and she paid attention to our tastes when choosing what to add. The rooms were tasteful and kept tidy. The house sits in a pedestrian area at the edge of the borgo, so it's quiet, while parking is still close by. It felt like a home away from home.

This was our second visit, which says a lot about how happy we were the first time. We booked the room with the little balcony again. It's a lovely area for walks, and Ilaria gave us tips each day that led us to beautiful routes. The house is a mountain home on a small village street, just as its name suggests. Ilaria gave us a very warm welcome, and breakfast came with cakes, fruit, biscuits, bread, and yogurt.

The breakfast, all made by Ilaria, was served in such a welcoming little room. You can see how much heart she puts into the details and into her work. I loved staying in her beautiful home. It's also a handy base for Mont Blanc, Courmayeur, and the Pré-Saint-Didier spa, with some excellent restaurants within walking distance in the village. Highly recommended!
