The black apartment with the terrace facing the sea was my favorite, and I'd recommend it as a base for exploring the Cilento. I stayed with my partner and got to try two apartments. Both were spacious, well maintained and had properly equipped kitchens, with comfortable beds and a very quiet setting. On-site parking was handy, and our host offered useful local tips. We were also given a bottle of olive oil and coffee capsules for free, which was a nice touch.

Egidio was really helpful and gave us great advice. The only thing I'd add is a mirror in the bedroom, one of those industrial-style ones. The place feels almost new and was spotless, with a huge bathroom, two TVs and two split air conditioning units. The sea isn't right nearby, but you can get there easily in about 10 minutes.

We even brought our dog, and she had a great time. Unlike other regions where my husband and I have stayed, dogs seemed welcome here and around town. A heartfelt thank you to Egidio and Ascea. Highly recommended, seeing is believing! Our apartment was called "metropolitan," done in black and white, and each apartment has its own style. It was thoughtfully furnished in keeping with that look. The large terrace overlooks the square, with a distant sea view and lovely sunsets. The bedroom was spacious, with a TV and all the amenities. The open living area had a comfy sofa and TV, and the kitchen and bathroom were fully equipped. The shower had multiple relaxing jets, and there was a modern washer-dryer, buckets, essentials, a drying rack and clothes pegs. Wi-Fi worked very well throughout the apartment and nearby, thanks to the owner. There was also a large, free private indoor parking area for guests. You need to drive to the beach, but with an apartment like this, it's worth it. Egidio was kind and helpful, and gave us very positive advice about everything. I've included a few photos to give you an idea.

The parking is inside the building, easy to use and secure behind an electronic gate. The B&B is centrally located, with several amenities just steps away, and is run by a young team. They were attentive and helpful, leaving their personal mobile numbers in case we needed anything. There isn't room service, which is why I gave service four stars. It would also be nice to have sugar and salt in single-use sachets. Our room was really more of a mini-apartment, spacious, welcoming and nicely furnished. The bathroom had everything we needed, including a large shower, washing machine and drying rack. I liked the outdoor patio with its table and umbrella, though I would've preferred a bit more privacy.
