Le Stanze di Virgilio

Virgilio's rooms were welcoming, clean, and right in the centre. The owner was very kind and courteous. I stayed there with my family over the weekend of July 26-27, and I’d definitely choose Virgilio's rooms again next time I’m in Naples. Very satisfied.

I was in Naples for a wedding and found this B&B to be a great find. It’s convenient and well organized, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Fuorigrotta is always busy, but it was still quiet inside.

The location worked really well, right across from Fuorigrotta train station and just a 15-minute ride from the city centre. We stayed one night and checked in over the phone with the very kind owner. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, though the pillows were poor quality. The minibar and complimentary snacks were a nice touch, and breakfast at a nearby café was more than good. The old, worn window frames and lack of bedside tables were the two small downsides. For what we paid, I recommend it.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I wanted to share this in case other Koreans are thinking of booking. I checked the address and went to check in, but nobody told me what floor the place was on. I had to ask the desk staff on the first floor to help me communicate with the host in English so I could find the key and get inside. The whole thing was absurd. I got there but couldn’t enter, and ended up wandering around for about two hours. Later, I stepped out briefly and tried to get back in with my key, but it wouldn’t open. I thought the door was broken. What’s the point of a place being in good condition if just finding it and getting in is such a struggle? Koreans, if you’re considering booking, don’t. This is my first review.
