Luma House

The staff were friendly. The room was quite small, but clean.

The apartment is compact but comfortable, clean, and well equipped, and the staff were helpful and very friendly. Its location is strategic for visiting the attractions in Naples’ historic center. We’ll definitely come back.

Naples was beautiful, but sleeping two nights at Luma House was a nightmare. The house was very dirty: hair everywhere, dusty doors, a chandelier with a thick layer of dust, filthy mirrors, dust strands on the ceiling, and dirty corners and window in the second room. It was humid and smelled bad, and even the reception was very dirty. I complained about finding hair everywhere, but it didn’t improve. I also didn’t see any kindness from the owners.

The walkable historic center is the one good thing about this place. The apartment itself was badly kept, and the document and booking area was dirty and shabby. It was also about fifteen meters away, down a little alley, and the view was ugly. Inside, the chandelier and a strange fan were covered in dust. The fan made an irritating noise when switched on, and the very old TV didn't help. The bed was two single beds pushed together, with slats held by tape. They came loose during the night and I fell out of bed. There wasn't even a double bed. There was only one shower towel per person, no bath mat and no toothbrush glass. In the kitchenette, an open cupboard held a coffee maker, toothpicks, sugar, salt and bicarbonate of soda, which looked as if they might have been used already. The apartment had a bathroom, a small living and dining area with no sofa, a double bedroom with the two single beds, and another small room with bunk beds. A terrible, dirty place. I wouldn't recommend it.
