L'incanto di Nausicaa

The one thing to plan for is getting around. You'll need your own car to reach the property and the beach, about 5 minutes away, and I don't think there's public transport. Follow Mr. Giovanni's clear directions, since GPS may send you through streams or onto muddy dirt roads. Parking is available on site. Carmen and Giovanni make you feel at home straight away. They greet you with a smile, help with luggage, and offer a cold drink or coffee. They love dogs and welcome well-mannered dogs and their owners in the rooms. Major cards are accepted, including Amex. This place reflects a family's real love of hospitality and nature. Mrs. Carmen cooks, and her tarts are excellent after a morning of activity. Mr. Giovanni clearly has a green thumb, with plenty of hands-on work in the beautifully tended park. Flowers and fruit trees fill the grounds: citrus, pear, banana trees that bear fruit, kiwi, passion fruit, pomegranate, and both old and newly planted olive trees. There are broad, neat lawns, succulents and all sorts of flowers. The spacious rooms are spotless, have the essentials and a small outdoor patio where you can relax and take in the sea and Cilento coast. At night it's quiet under the stars, and the paths let you enjoy the scent of the flowers. A little paradise, and the kind of place that's hard to leave.

Carmen was so welcoming and made us feel at home. The property has a gorgeous view, and my sweet dog had a great time running around. Breakfast was excellent, everything was clean, and the owners were kind and helpful. We stayed a few weeks ago and will be back.

Fresh bread and pastries from the hostess were served at breakfast each day, along with fruit picked from their own trees. We spent some wonderful days here. The hosts are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are tidy and very clean, some with sea views. They have a Mediterranean style, which I especially liked, and come with a bathroom, air conditioning, TV, small fridge and hairdryer. The town and beach are only a few minutes away by car. A really beautiful vacation rental.

The rooms were spotless, comfortable and well equipped, and breakfast was excellent. This place is tucked into greenery and feels wonderfully peaceful. Hospitality and kindness are what stand out most.
