La Chianarella

stunning location

We loved the room's terrace, where we watched the sunset over Ascea, and Francesco gave us great tips for things to do during our stay. We spent a weekend here and were thrilled with it. Our room, called "Violet," was spacious and clean, with an in-room refrigerator and a well-stocked courtesy kit. Breakfast was a highlight too, with Francesco offering plenty of sweet and savory choices. The location is excellent, quiet and away from the city center's chaos, but still within walking distance. Francesco was attentive and helpful. We'd definitely come back.

When a small technical issue came up, it was sorted out within 20 minutes. Francesco and his staff were attentive, and the property is lovely and well placed for interesting visits. The rooms are spacious and kept clean and tidy. Breakfast had both sweet and savory options, especially Grandma's homemade desserts, which were a treat. Francesco also gave us useful suggestions for things to do and places to eat. Highly recommended.

The little touches in the room stood out, from the shaving kit and vanity kit with nail file and makeup remover pads to the refrigerator and the two-liter bottle of water left each day. I stayed with my children for two weeks, and the family atmosphere made us feel well cared for. Violet was very spacious and impeccably clean, with a terrace where I enjoyed some of Ascea's loveliest sunsets. The location works well, near the sea but away from traffic. The owner and staff were consistently kind and helpful. Breakfast was varied and homemade, with cakes and cookies made by the owner's mother.
