I was in town for work, and the hotel was right in the center, just minutes from my client. The rooms felt dated, though they were very clean and fine for the stay I needed. A bit more attention to small details would help, especially the really noisy bathroom fan. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and excellent. Breakfast was another strong point, with a buffet and lots of sweet and savory choices. I’d happily stay here again. The restaurant looks beautiful, but the room felt a little bare. Tablecloths instead of fast-food-style paper placemats might have made it more inviting, though the current setup does give it more of a trattoria feel. My request for chilled sparkling water couldn’t be met because they only had still water. The food was adequate. The meat had good flavor but was almost dry on the outside, and nothing especially stood out.

At the height of summer there wasn't even a fan, and opening the windows meant letting insects in since there were no mosquito nets. The bed was awful and very low, sloping you toward the middle, and the bathroom shower had no tray. There’s enough room for a proper shower, but apparently the price comes first. All this for €80, what a thrilling stay. I live in Parma, Emilia Romagna, and you can find loads of places there for that price with much better service. The hotel is split in two, with the actual hotel 200 meters away. So breakfast means leaving the building, which is really inconvenient. The breakfast was all frozen, including the bread and croissants, and the cakes were supermarket ones. Ham, cheese and coffee don’t make it a continental breakfast, that’s a savory one. Just saying. Not recommended.
