Appartamento Giorgio

The house was clean, comfortable in temperature, and welcoming, and we were greeted very warmly. We stayed one night in this lovely place right in the center, practically below Santa Chiara and opposite the parking lot. Parking is available, though a bit pricey. We managed fine as three adults, but I think it would be difficult to spend time here with children. The upper-floor stairs are quite steep, and the unprotected windows could be dangerous for a family with kids. The bathroom was the worst part for me: small and uncomfortable, with no bidet, and no slide bar for the shower, so you have to hold the shower or take a full shower each time. There’s no TV or large mirror either. I did find a few magazines and books in German. I’d recommend the house for certain people, but in my opinion it doesn’t merit more than three stars.
