Breakfast was the weakest part. The coffee and juice from the machines weren’t great, and the breakfast staff seemed a bit disengaged. I also noticed a slight bathroom smell and dust on the balcony chairs. Still, the room was clean and well laid out, with a lovely view of the Santa Lucia Cathedral. Check-in went smoothly, the balcony was a nice extra, and the location made it easy to walk to the main attractions. The price felt fair. I had a comfortable stay and would happily return.

The hotel is beautiful and right in the center of town, with big, spacious rooms. Breakfast is served at the restaurant next door. There’s no free parking, so you have to use a car park on the outskirts. Also, you can’t drive up to the hotel during the day because it’s in a restricted area. Our main issue was communication: we were running late and tried calling a couple of times, then emailed, but got no response.

4/10
The location is perfect, and the room was really spacious. Cleanliness gets a 5, while the restaurant service deserves a 10, especially WAITRESS CHIARA, who was incredible, kind, helpful, and friendly with everyone. The food at lunch and dinner was tasty and well presented, a 9; breakfast could be better, maybe a 7. There’s no hotel parking or elevator. I’d booked half board, but when I arrived in the evening, the receptionist was very rude and gave me no welcome. They claimed I hadn’t booked that option and wouldn’t let me have dinner. After my agency intervened, they gave me lunch the next day to make up for the missed meal. I later found out there had been OVERBOOKING IN THE RESTAURANT, but they still wouldn’t admit the mistake.

The rooms were spacious and lovely, and breakfast was one of the biggest spreads I had in Italy. The hotel sits on Assisi's main street, so the main sights are easy to reach on foot. There’s no lift, but the place has plenty of charm. The receptionist also booked a restaurant for us and answered our questions. I’d recommend it.

Everything was wonderfully clean, and food, shops, and sights are all close by. Just be aware there’s no elevator.
