Julio treated us like family, even though he was only two weeks away from his wedding. He was a gracious, wonderful host. We spent four days there in June 2016 and loved being out of town in our comfortable home each evening. Without transport, Julio would take us up the hill to start the day in Assisi, and we could walk about 10 minutes back down through the olive groves and past San Damiano. The grounds were delightful, with views toward St Maria della Angeli and the cathedral in Assisi. We loved sipping local wine outside as the lights came on above the Portiuncula. Looking the other way, you can see the Franciscan church at Rivotorto, and there were fireflies at night. Our room was clean, quiet, spacious, and lovely, with a nice bath and views. Breakfast was very nice too, as were the conversations with new friends. I couldn't rate the experience any higher. We'll definitely return.

The host, the roomy quiet bedroom, and the lovely breakfast all made our stay wonderful. We highly recommend this B&B and would happily stay again.

Giulio's hospitality and helpfulness were a real pleasure. The old farmhouse is beautifully cared for, and its location among the olive trees is hard to beat: just a few hundred meters from the Convent of San Damiano, a five-minute drive from Assisi's historic center, and handy for visiting many well-known Umbrian towns. A thoroughly deserved five stars.

We stayed here with our children and loved it. The owner was very helpful, and everything was well maintained and meticulously clean. The property is lovely and peaceful, just a stone's throw from Assisi. Everything was perfect. Many compliments to Giulio, and highly recommended.
