I don’t know how this place got its rating. We’ve stayed all around Europe and Italy, and this was the only B&B that really didn’t live up to its rating. Breakfast was poor, the towels were hard and scratchy, and the room was very dated with mold on the ceiling. The owner wasn’t helpful. We loved Assisi, though, and would come back to stay somewhere else.

The stay was disappointing all around. There was practically no hot water, I never saw the hosts, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work the first night. Be ready to haul all your luggage up a narrow, steep spiral staircase.

A really nice, very clean place. The owner was very nice, too, and it’s close to shops and restaurants.

It was okay.

We were only there for the weekend, but that was enough to appreciate the warm welcome and the beautifully kept place. The heating was excellent, and breakfast was wonderful, really SUPER! It’s also just a short walk from the Basilica. I highly recommend it!
