The grounds are lovely, there is parking, and the sea is about a five-minute walk away. We stayed six days, but those are the only positives I can mention. The shower water was always cold. For three days, we couldn't bathe our child because the tap water was freezing. I understand they use solar panels and the weather was cloudy, but we came as tourists to relax and expected more comfort. The cleaning was poor too. There were someone else's things in the cupboard when we arrived, and I think they're probably still there. The floor was badly cleaned, our feet got dirty after just five minutes, and ants were running around. The apartment was missing basic things: no hand soap in our room, no shower supplies, kettle, coffee maker or microwave. There wasn't a hairdryer either, though one was brought later after we asked. The kids got bitten by mosquitoes, and I couldn't see any mosquito nets, although Booking.com said they were provided. They also ask for a 200 euro deposit. This was our fifth apartment stay in Italy, and we'd never been asked for a deposit before.

We just got back from a lovely week away with our two little children. Want somewhere clean and quiet to stay while visiting Sicily? Come here! The host and staff were really nice and helpful, the services were high quality for a cheap price, and it's close to both the sea and the town.

That was the best holiday I’ve had. The residence has a lovely view of the beach, about an 8-minute walk away, though you can also get there on the little town train or by bicycle. There’s a private pool for residence valentina guests, and the garden is full of palms, olive trees and other beautiful plants. Everything was clean and looked just like the video on their YouTube page. The people who own the place are from Germany and are usually around in summer, so you can talk with them then. Lorenzo was also glad to help with anything, and arranged one of the most beautiful boat trips to the Zingaro natural reservation. The washing machine is free to use, too. I’d recommend getting some proper Sicilian wine from Lorenzo, along with his homemade olive oil. Thanks, Lorenzo, for a wonderful holiday. I hope we see each other again soon.
