Victoria House Hostel

The walking tour with Spyro was one of the best I've ever done, and he may be the best guide I've had. The hostel has a great vibe, much like Menona, and the granola cereal was delicious. I met lots of cool people, and staff let me check in early. I had a private room the first night. It's very close to the train station, and there are plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen sink was filthy, though. They also told me about the three-story fort in the hills. Getting up there is a tough hike.

The kitchen and location were both great, and I really enjoyed staying here. My room was cosy, with a nice terrace and a clothesline. The employees were lovely, helpful and kind. I'd definitely come back.

The free breakfast was included, the place was fairly clean, and the atmosphere was nice. Staff were incredibly kind. I would've liked lockable lockers and a safer place for luggage. Curtains on the top bunks would also give people more privacy.

The kitchen closes to guests after midnight, so you can't get drinking water then. You also have to wash dishes by hand, and sometimes cups or plates are still dirty from the previous person. On the plus side, the staff are really nice, the other guests are friendly, and the location is great. The beds squeak.
