Camere I Monelli

Excellent location. The room was spacious but modest, and it was cold when we arrived because the owner admitted the heating had been turned on late. The bed was comfortable enough, though noisy, and the rooms don’t block sound well. For a good price, the owner provides packaged snacks and a coffee pod machine.

The owner was kind, but that didn't make up for an uncomfortable room. The bed wasn't comfortable, and the air conditioning didn't work. On a freezing night, the room took about three hours to warm up after we arrived. We stayed one night, and I wouldn't recommend it.

Diego was consistently available and courteous without ever intruding, and he was both empathetic and professional. I've stayed at this charming B&B several times, and the peaceful Assisi atmosphere is a real part of the experience. The rustic place has a wonderful view over Assisi. Rooms are spacious, very clean, simple but never ordinary, and welcoming. It feels like a place to recharge, whether you're visiting alone, as a couple, with friends, or with family. Highly recommended for all kinds of stays. You have to see it for yourself.

Diego made us feel welcome and was quick to help. He pointed us to free parking near the Basilica Maggiore and suggested places for dinner. Our room was spacious and clean, with heating, and the amenities and location were excellent.
