Casa Masù

We found a cockroach in the apartment and killed it. Cleaning was poor throughout. Dirt on a patch of floor about a quarter of a square meter filled a cleaning cloth; the toilets were filthy behind the seats, the kitchen cabinet glass looked untouched for months, and there were two dental floss picks and other debris on the tiny balcony. The landlady said, “Normally everything is clean!” The courtyard smelled strongly of urine and sewage when we went through the gate. She said it was cleaned once a week. The apartment is on the fourth floor, up 69 unusually high steps. That wasn't a problem for us, but could be a serious issue for other guests and should be stated in the listing. On day two, the fuse blew when we ran the washing machine and kettle at the same time. Her response was, “That happens.” We stayed 15 days. If two families had rented for 7 and 8 days, respectively, the apartment would have been cleaned between stays. Instead, she suggested we hire a cleaner ourselves for €30. She is simply greedy, putting in minimal effort for maximum profit.
