The location is perfect, the owner is very friendly, and the room is spacious, with plenty of drawers and a wardrobe. We also got some pastries as a welcome gift, which was a nice touch. The place is worth the price, and I'd recommend it to anyone staying in Salerno. A few small drawbacks: the private bathroom is outside the room, so you have to step out to use it; there's a small freezer but no fridge, which we hadn't realized, and our food that needed refrigeration froze. The mattress is a little too thin.

The room smelled bad and felt very humid, with a mouldy smell in the air. There was chewing gum on one bedside table, and only two sockets, both by the large bed, with none near the small one. The bathroom was tiny and the shower cubicle felt claustrophobic, and toiletries were provided very sparingly. Parking nearby wasn't possible because of the limited traffic zone, despite what the listing said. The location in Salerno's quaint historic center was very good, though. The decor was modern, the host was kind, and it was generally quiet despite the busy neighborhood.

It was clean and basic, and fine for one night. Getting in was unclear at first, but the host eventually arrived. The old town noise was what you'd expect, though it was exceptionally loud on the Saturday. I found only one charging spot, in the bathroom. Don't count on much for breakfast: there was a croissant, coffee, some shop bought cookies, and basic cereal, but no fruit, toast, or eggs. The kitchen wasn't available for use, and there weren't cooking facilities beyond boiling water; tea was available.

We only had one night, but really enjoyed the stay. A nice spot in Salerno's cozy old town.
