Camere Mariella

Mariella was a lovely host, friendly and helpful, and everything was spotless and so well organized. We all had a really enjoyable stay in this charming, quiet place. Its location also worked well for visiting Assisi, Perugia, Gubbio, and Spoleto.

The rooms were tidy, well equipped, welcoming, and spotlessly clean. We stayed for 10 days in the Umbrian countryside, with nature and restorative quiet all around, and views across the Assisi valley toward the distant dome of Santa Maria degli Angeli. Mariella and Ezio greeted us with such warmth and kindness. They’re delightful, smiling people who want guests to feel at home, and their family style of hospitality feels genuine, never forced. The property also makes a great base for visiting the towns and villages nearby. A special thanks to Mariella. We’ll definitely be back!

After days spent exploring the area, it was a pleasure to come back to a clean, fresh-smelling room. The garden, property, and room were all spotless and welcoming, and the view of Assisi was beautiful. The location between Santa Maria degli Angeli and Bastia Umbra made nearby places easy to reach, including Assisi, Perugia, Rasiglia, Spello, the Marmore Falls, and anywhere else we wanted to visit. The owners were friendly and courteous, and Mrs. Mariella was an excellent host. My husband, daughter, our poodle puppy, and I were welcomed with real kindness and helpfulness. Mrs. Mariella had left delicious treats in our room and gave us useful tips on getting around the places we mentioned and making the most of our time. Highly recommended!

The garden was beautifully kept, full of lovely flowers, and the view of the basilica was fantastic. My husband and I spent three peaceful days here and felt at home. Mrs. Mariella and her husband Ezio are so kind and welcoming, and our room was clean and comfortable. Thank you for those quiet days ❤️
