Laura is an easygoing, gracious host who’s always reachable, and Casa Gentile has become my favorite place to stay in Assisi. I’ve been here twice now. The house is spotless, fully equipped, and has a lovely, gentle feel that works especially well for small families. You can walk to most of Assisi’s historic sights, bars, and restaurants. The Assisi Link bus also starts from the main road nearby. I’d happily recommend it, though it’s best to book ahead during peak season.

Laura is kind and willing to help with whatever you need. Her apartment is bright, fresh, and impeccably clean, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, and private parking. It’s tucked into Assisi’s peaceful, picturesque historic center, close to the Cathedral of San Rufino, the Basilica of Santa Chiara, and other amenities. A lovely choice for a thorough, relaxed visit to the city.

Laura gave us such a warm, thoughtful welcome, and even sent us off with a free bottle of her own excellent olive oil to try. The apartment is right in the village center, with plenty of room and a kitchen that had everything we needed. It was all clean and worked perfectly, and the bathrooms had tasteful renovations and a fantastic shower.
