The Best Hotel

We paid to store three suitcases from 09:00 to 14:30, then were charged another €5 for a small backpack attached to one of them, even though it took up no extra space. The morning staff member tagged the bags and told us several times that we could go, without mentioning that we should photograph them. When we came back, another man was working. I showed him the receipt for the extra €5 and asked for our luggage, but he got angry that we hadn't taken pictures. My wife had a photo of the suitcases, though it was from before that morning and showed no tags. He kept shouting abuse and what sounded like Italian swear words, including “merde,” in front of another woman who seemed to be a guest. He also basically threw the suitcases at us while removing the tags. Very unprofessional. I strongly advise against staying here or leaving luggage here.

The reception staff came across a little awkward and strange. The rooms are small but tidy, and the location is great, with all the main sights within walking distance. Breakfast was good.

The room was great, and both the staff and breakfast were good. The hotel is conveniently located, too. My only issue was the heating, which made a constant noise.

The staff were friendly and the location was good, but breakfast was very sparse. My downstairs room was really noisy at night, and the shower felt worn out and leaked under the door into the hall. That needs attention.
